"Stacey and I got engaged, visited her family and mine, traveled across the United States, and even learned a little more about one another during my visit home. Every day with her is refreshing because I finally met someone I can truly be myself around and appreciates me for who I am. 
So how did I do it? Well, I flew into Louisville Airport on the 27th after months of coordination and making a purchase of the perfect ring while I was deployed overseas to Operation Iraqi Freedom. I'm a Captain in the Army serving with the 101st Airborne Division. I started communicating with Ashley Davis of Davis Jewelers three months before I knew I would fly home on leave. Davis Jewelers did a great job writing me regularly and helped me make a decision on a diamond that was perfect for Stacey, but also within my budget. The personal attention I received was top notch. Ashley Davis personally sent me photos of ring settings and also informed me of the qualities of three different diamonds. I was lucky enough to have the help of Stacey's sister to help choose the perfect diamond, but would have been confident in using the opinion of Ashley since she had taken such a personal interest in helping me pull off my engagement moment from 7,000 miles away.
